Re: Officially an RC10 owner

congrats on your first one! At this point you might as well make room for more  ! K I've got my nearly complete 93 worlds gold pan build taking up all the space on my dining room table... 8w9rg6.jpg Are those RPM front arms? Reasonably sure it's a RPM 91 worlds conversion. It was listed as...

Re: Officially an RC10 owner

I wanted it bad, but not bad enough to get it. Glad it's going to a good home instead of a chop shop.

RPM Ultra Molded RC10

After wanting one of these as a kid 30+ years ago after seeing the magazine ad, I was finally able to build an Ultra Molded buggy. Just added a few period mods but nothing too crazy. I was so tempted to add some stickers to this blank canvas, but it looks just too good to cover up. - MIP CVD's...

Re: Bored? Come To The Chit / Chat Thread

I think the posts are excellent, additional info and all. Where do you get it all from? Ironically, I usually start with old RCCA magazines, then instruction manuals, last is heavy googling for any site with info on the more obscure models... though, sometimes I cheat and read the ads. :) I may not...

Funny how the silent majority thing works. Some of the coolest stuff never gets spoken about... just stared at in awe.
I have always suspected the folks on this board are like the folks in the museum staring intently at an exhibit, not just wandering about as if in a grocery store.

There are also a few tricks to judge where you are on the low end needle. Once the high speed is set you can work on the low speed. Note, the high speed MUST be set before you attempt to set the low speed. As guggles said the engine must be hot and keep in mind you can't properly tune on the bench, ...

Re: Was KISS the hottest band in the world? 77'/78'

Is it safe to assume that this thread started because of a disagreement with someone else? If so, you only need one word to shut them down: Eagles (they hadn't split yet). Probably the single most talented group of musicians to ever play. And while ZZ Top and AC/DC weren't as mainstream, still much ...

Re: Factory Works Ten4.1 project

I put up a few kits on our website just now. Plenty more coming, just waiting on some bearing sets from Avid.

Re: MIP CVD re-release for rc10 and rc10t

Scammers are losing business with all the the vintage re-releases. I really hate to see it happen to such wonderful humans.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

I read on Facebook that the new outdrives and stealth case are not necessarily compatible with the old stuff  I swear the people at AE just suck at remembering how things were done. Anyway the new stealth case is narrower between the bearings by enough that with an old diff you can't close the...
