the hydradrive/slipper top shaft will work in either. I do highly suggest running a slipper on this car at the very least if you're going to drive it, the diffs in the LRM have been known to melt pretty easy if used as a slipper. I don't plan on driving it, but I also like to have anything I build ...

You can lightly sand the axle in that spot to clean it up, unless it's just in really bad shape. You have a new one on the way anyways :D

Looks like his car had staggered rear caps, would explain the hub difference. A local Trinity driver had a host of different hub widths for the Evo10 SS...so it's likely a one off on Joel's car When you have time, can you check yours on the rear axle and see if it takes a 8-32 nylon nut? Making progress on mine. I have some of the small nylon nuts for the shocks on the way and some of the small goldish AE locknuts. Have to take the nose plate off again to grind the anodize off the back part of it. Shaved the rear arms down today but waiting on some of the old RC10 hinge pins to ship...
