Re: Give a pro driver a crappy car experiment

GoMachV wrote: Sat Aug 13, 2022 2:35 pm You could give me one of the top pro drivers modern cars and I could guaranteed crash it into the wall harder than they could. I’m not sure that counts for anything but it’s a slow day.

Re: WOIN XLS runner

Which center track rod did you use? I don't have all of the bits to compare, but the carbon CTR Schumacher released for the Masami is said to be the "wrong" width. Apparently Masami's car had the original narrow CTR since the car was basically a prototype, so that is what the Masami re-re ...

Re: Give a pro driver a crappy car experiment

[
I have this theory that lesser drivers would be more competitive with crappier cars and, that better cars, highlight better driving skills. Then, the race might be a lot closer between the drivers? Maybe...
I agree if the lesser drivers are still fairly decent. The pro would have ...

Re: Do you have RC in your office or office shelves?

Tastefully presented, so I would say it is fine for an office. It is probably a good conversation piece even for those who don't participate in the hobby. I have a similar setup in my home office, but that is also my hobby room, so...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

I got a bunch more misc Schumacher parts I don't need. Apparently Amain is trying to unload their old Schuey bits, as they are priced as clearance items.

Re: Modern 2wd bashing buggies

Maybe you are the target audience for the Genova (aka Jeg's Stinger). It is a modern-ish buggy with vintage looks. I know very little about it and have never actually seen one in person, so don't take this as a recommendation. The reviews I have seen have been mostly positive. The most often repeate...

Re: WOIN XLS runner

Very clever mixing and matching of parts, and the front upper arms shows the true racer's spirit from bitd! I am thinking of using Top Cat front upper arms on my XLS runner. They are a nice "middle ground" between the standard arms and the Bosscat camber adjustable arms, plus they look the...

Re: Re-re Cougar in the US

My kits show "out for delivery" today. I am thinking of doing one stock and one resto-mod. For the mod, I built the pro transmission last night. Big bore shocks are built. The 7.5 motor was a stupid decision, so I will have to "turn it down". I have carbon towers and will get bal...

Re: Detroit Worlds Schumacher Cougar prototype Kevin Moore

What is the small bracket in pic 3? Does that tie the motor plate to the chassis for extra strength?
