Hello from Lake Wylie NC
I just resurrected my Team Associated RC-10 2T Championship buggy from a long slumber and found this forum. Purchased new in 1991 and using an MSC and Futaba controller and electronics. Old NiCD battery holds a charge for about 3 or 4 minutes. So off to get a 3800Mah NiHM Tenergy and charger from Am...

Tamiya Frog
In 1983 Tamiya would strike lightning twice with its popular 1/10 2wd electric off-road racing buggy, the Frog. Sharing the ORV (Off Road Vehicle) chassis with the well-known Subaru Brat and lesser-known Lancia Rally car meant the Frog's guts were supported by the ORV's molded plastic space frame st...

3d printed battery holder for Kyosho Optima/Javelin
Hi folks, Did a 3d printed design for battery holder for Kyosho Optima/Javelin. This is designed for low profile shorty pack that followed the dimension of 18.5x47x96mm. The original intent to have a better battery secure rather than velcro tapes and prevent the battery from moving sideway. IMG20250...

Tamiya Hornet
In 1984 Tamiya released alongside the Grasshopper a higher performance 1/10 2wd electric off-road buggy named the Hornet. As a stablemate to the Grasshopper the Hornet shared the same deeply molded ABS plastic monocoque chassis with integrated shock towers and long front swing arms suspended by slid...

Re: Rocket Lunchbox
Weather here sux, got it all ready, but over my better judgement the 💎 One talked me into not running that E engine and wait for the smaller engines...but did put a 20t pinion on it and baselined it with no rocket...it's got a Tamiya BZ motor in it..surprisingly it ran 33mph...alot faster than I was...

Re: Outlaw Rampage Pro Team - electric conversion rescue
Front wheels: This was a pain and I bought a number of parts that ended up not working. The plan was to use Ultima 4mm axles and the GPM Tamiya adapters along with new 4x8 bearings. The problem is the factory Ultima axles are way to short. I am sure at some point longer aftermarket axles were availa...

Re: Black Rims and Silver tri-wing nut OR Silver rims and Black tri-wing nut ???
oh just saw the poll, wow people really have bad taste in wheel color  Come on guys, the original 1:1 wheels were Magnesium why would you want to paint over that with boring black paint? Because in this instance the silver is too busy, the black wheel looks more aggressive by allowing your eye...

Re: 2025 RC10Talk.com Roostpalooza post race!
Totally, same car over and over who thinks he is going to win if the marshal just gets to him 3 seconds quicker on his 37th crash, been there! Generally though I have found most people to have the right attitude. Always a couple though and in my experience those couple are not always the slow guys.
