Re: So, what did you do RC today?

I had an itch to try this esc and finally did. Seems fine, the solder tabs needed more heat.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

I got this NIB 22 2.0 kit to go with my 22 1.0 kit. Not really vintage, but both are unique cars and hard to find NIB.

Re: Double X CR modern racer

Track day on Fri, steering has improved with lighter oil overall, opening up the rear pistons . Ran super tacky JC Ellipse slicks (typically better low speed steering, lighter, but edgy) and Rawspeed Gumballs (heavier, more high speed steering, less low speed steering) The day started in the 13.1 se...

Re: Eye to eye lengths for 0.56 and 0.71 shocks?

This is my little reference. Most of this was lifted from RCCA a long time ago. Can't guarantee you it is perfect, but it has always worked for me.

Re: Special Project Codename EF209 - RC 1/12 pancar

I procrastinated a lot recently... The publication for the 312 bodyshell accessories is still awaiting I do the instruction manual, and I had to finish the 917K accessories... I defined the cut line for both arches and the side line. A printed part will do the job... https://i.imgur.com/8ykSM7z.jpeg...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Some paint, tires (already swapped the new ones onto the buggy) and some stickers to get my RC10 resurrection going. I have an Amain dist center a couple of miles from my house here in Charlotte, so I don't have to pay shipping if its in stock over there. Met some cool folks that work there as well....

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Today my "not a B5 rear motor" kits arrived. Quality looks great and they come with tires and wheels. Funny part is I only found out about em because of AE's post. They clearly haven't heard of the Streisand effect. So yeah, It wasn't hard to decide between two of these or a graphite 6 gea...

Tamiya F103

In 1993 Tamiya let out on track their latest 1/10 2wd electric Formula One race car, the F103. Evolving from the F102 released the year prior Tamiya's newest F1 weapon featured a significant number of revisions over its older brother. The chassis, still constructed of black fiberglass reinforced fib...

Re: ** Hopelessly Incomplete Project of the Month - May 2025 ** Winner - BattleTrak (JRX2)

Victory in failure I guess there's hope for my XXX-NT electric project as it came in dead last. I guess I'll have to get it running this summer. Rogue, I think being fairly complete with electronics gave the sense of too much hope. Congrats Battletrak! uh, it isn't complete there's no electronics i...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

The Zerda ran at Montluçon few weeks ago. But it was with the main belt longer than what was required, with adjustment of the tightener rollers diameter to make it fit. The proper belt arrived the day before Montluçon, and I had no chance to change it before the event or during the event. I decided ...
