Re: Kent Clausen RC10L Tide Build

Here's a pic of the car in its current form on display in my office. The body is my concours winning entry from the Thunderdrome the next year, complete with moving driver helmet and almost all of the logos are painted inside the body. The only logos that aren't paint are the small Autographics &quo...

Re: Composite Craft RC10T #2

I decided to ditch the Novak stuff, and go in a different direction. Thanks for everyone's input. I swapped in my new Reedy MR motor. Looks pretty good. I like how the REEDY shows out from the back opening. I am still sorting the rest of the gear that will go on. I stole the CC battery brace from CC...

RPM molded chassis build

52833E40-89D3-4710-B5B0-5A844A06D7E6.jpeg Hi all, This is one of my current projects, coming along nicely I think but not yet finished. I would like to use an RPM transmission case, but that will require some work on the housing to make it fit. You just have to love the look of the translucent RPM ...

Re: RC10 Composite Craft Worlds build

mikea96 wrote: Tue Oct 26, 2021 8:55 pm It looks like you could easily trim that back to make it work that is if the back is in the correct spot.
Yes, it's a simple job,and it would look the same. I'm just not sure if I want to use the shorter chassis, or wait and hopefully find a long one. Once I cut the top plate I can't go back.

Re: Raced RPM Ultra Molded 8080

Very nice example, looks to even have the not too often seen #7017 steering enhancement kit. Surprised to see a stock AE front bulkhead and not the RPM one considering it looks to be built from the entire RPM catalog. What a fantastic find, definitely one of the coolest buggy’s from back then. Reall...

Re: Raced RPM Ultra Molded 8080
Not sure but the enhancement kit might be for the truck...
What are the signs it is for the truck? Still researching info on these. I am in love with it.
The version designed for the car has a short steering arm, the truck version has a longer steering arm. This is an exam...

Re: Raced RPM Ultra Molded 8080

I am not too familiar with these kit but I knew I couldn’t pass this up. What is the 7017 steering enhancement? I think the guy who owned it want king travel and tight turns. Someone said it had a front shock tower from a truck. The transmission is smooth as butter. I can practically blow on it and ...

Re: Raced RPM Ultra Molded 8080

Btw if you’re looking to get the front to sit more like it is supposed to, you should still be able to get the “91” Worlds springs from RPM if you contact them directly. They did have medium and soft. Also if the bend in the motor guard is bothersome that too should still be available from them.
