Re: RC10 Gold Pan - C stamp?
I'll most likely put the RC10 body back on, but I do have a few of my favorite VW Bus body now. Looks like you buy like I do... Them: "How many would you like?" Me: "How many do you have??" I bought every one I could find under $50 shipped . If they make a 21 window B...

Re: RC10 Gold Pan - C stamp?
Front end was pretty bad. I was so lucky to find a bag full of shock mount parts that were brand new, bolts, washers, nuts, couldn't believe it. The new hardware really made a difference. Starting off ugly. https://i.imgur.com/H9Ql2mB.jpg Used more simple green and longest time setting, with better ...

Re: RC10 Gold Pan - C stamp?
Almost there, looking really good. Nice to see you had and have installed the stock spring adjustment collars 8) Thanks! I can't believe those collars were still in my kit this whole time. Wish I had another (4) of those collars for my GT, they look much better than the slip on kind, but for racing...

Re: RC10 Gold Pan - C stamp?
The reaction is fast usually and if your doing something with thread then dipping may leave bubbles in the thread , it's why the cotton swabs are worth trying so you can work it into details , as I said with steel you can build up layers until you get the finish you want , don't be tempted to just ...

Re: RC10 Gold Pan - C stamp?
Marantz :D Awesome stuff. I still have my old Carver amp I bought new and a Carver pre-amp I picked up from a local collector. With my hearing, I could probably do just as well with something from Walmart  but I like having old stuff that still works. Carver components, nice! Love the vintage ...

Re: RC10 Gold Pan - C stamp?
Nope the trucks never came with wing mounts. Thanks for confirmation GoMachV ! Was a huge fan of Speed Racer, who doesn't like Spritle and Chim-Chim? You're exactly correct. I just looked all through my original RC10gt manual, and didn't see those mounts anywhere listed. Not sure why they were in t...

Second blue looks more even. https://i.imgur.com/VLtzkbz.jpg Next to NOS. https://i.imgur.com/KWP8VlZ.jpg Used the Tamiya cutters to get the ball joints cut really close. The old ball cups were chewed on. https://i.imgur.com/uxBKG2d.jpg Finally figured out how to use the tools properly, in order to ...

Re: RC10 Gold Pan - C stamp?
While waiting for parts on this project, I watched this: u22BKr_aPjY At 7:53 he says the track was torn up and Brian Kinwald put in a good lap with the Losi Hydra Drive/Stealth combo, says he then bought the entire team the same setup. Having the late Stealth CE kit from '92-'96, I went looking for ...

Re: RC10GT - Black Pan and Plastics - #7065
The Oder 1 on the left looks to have the tank back to front to me, you’d never get the lid open to refill in a race Not sure what to say about that, here's some pics of the old tank on the left vs the new design on the right: https://i.imgur.com/E1zNkwj.jpg https://i.imgur.com/qAp88rF.jpg The inlet...

Re: RC10CC classic clear wait list....
Was curious what the new kit looked like. I set the playback speed to 1.75x and watched this one. Interesting comparison.

Re: RC10 Gold Pan - C stamp?
Delima... They're exceedingly cool and your gut instinct was to buy and install a new one... given the package is damaged it likely wouldn't be a consideration for a NIP parts collection so, if no one asks if they can buy it from you, I say use it. A new kit beats the can of worms of piecing togeth...
