Re: Tyco Bandit build on a budget thread

Then soldered it all together and tested it again. Realized that it cuts power too the motor when quickly applying the brakes from full throttle. I cant say its suprising, considering the esc was $3, but I've used them before and never had issues. Any idea what could be causing this? Took a few min...

Re: Tyco Bandit build on a budget thread

The bandit was probably my first ever RC car my mom purchased for me at a yard sale. Very cool little truck I’ll always remember having so much fun with mine.

Re: Lexan Body Trimming - Scissors or Sharp Blade?

Forever I was all about the scissors, until I started doing the razor score and snap method. Granted I trim prior to painting so not sure I’d suggest it post paint. Score and snap and scissors where it makes sense. Score as far off the final as far as you want then sandpaper or smooth controlled Dr...

Im really proud how they turned out and are now a part of the co...

Re: Getting Back Into RC

The stock stealth handles brushless without issue. A user here sells carbon fiber slipper pads for the original stealth slipper. Were you thinking about drag racing or 3s+? In those cases a different platform is better suited.

Re: 1994 Yokomo YZ-10 Box Stock Restoration

I think the chances of coming across that Ko Propo servo are pretty slim but it was the only part that was really holding this project up, so I threw in a placeholder to wrap things up. Eleven years after starting this project, it is hard to believe I am finally in the home stretch….did some work th...

Re: The OS CZZ is back together, but will it run?

A little long, but has all the tuning info you should need in here. I’ve watched this way too many times too admit.

Re: The OS CZZ is back together, but will it run?

Now I need some help. It moves kinda fast at idle. I feel like it might be idling too fast causing the clutch to grab and move the truck? How do I slow down the idle? sounds like you need to shorten up to the 1mm gap mentioned above by RJ with the idle screw. You have a picture of inside the carb a...
