New Member from the Bay Area
Hello, Been reading a ton on the board and finally here to contribute a bit. Just got back into the hobby with the re-release of the RC10T. Bought and built my 10T ReRe and immediately felt the need to build a buggy. Was fortunate to find a kit that was hand assembled by someone on eBay that produce...

RC10 Worlds Sticker Sheet
Found a sticker sheet for the RC10 Worlds on ebay not sure if it was from the ReRe or original but it had the graphics I wanted. I made a high res scan of the sheet and also had everything in the converted to vectors so I can modify them and resize etc before printing my own stickers. Below is a pic...

Associated Yokomo YZ-10 ReRe Motor Wire Guide
Hello, While building up my YZ-10 ReRe I wanted a nicer way to ensure the wires from the ESC to the motor don't get in the way of the belt. I threw together a 3d model and printed this mount to route the wires cleanly. Still a bit of a work in progress. If people would like the unfinished stl I can ...

Re: Stadium Truck Rear Wing Body Mount
I based it off the images on jconcepts website. Gonna say there is no right or wrong method here and more a preference. If you cut put the whole rear of the body you would need to mount on the top of the bed. This mount could do that if you wish.

Associated RC10 Modified Battery Tray
The fitment of the factory battery tray was right against the servo posts and the height of it would interfere with the connector cables for my hardcase lipo battery packs. I redesigned a tray that has a lower height to avoid the battery pack cables, put a relief in it to allow plenty for clearance ...

Associated RC10T ReRe Stealth Trans Brace
Made this mostly for aesthetics. The Jconcepts brace is backordered everywhere so I modeled this up for fun. I have weight it but it is about the same weight as the factory brace but a bit stiffer when printing it with carbon infused filament. Work in progress, I will print one up that removes the p...

Losi XXT Restoration Project
Picked this up off of ebay last week. In better condition in some ways and worse in others based on the description and photos. Pretty excited to clean this up into a runner. Will post progress as it is made.

Re: Losi XXT Restoration Project
Started assembling today. Was surprised that the KNK hardware kit was metric also many of the screws are button heads and not cap heads. Liking the kit overall the stainless doesn’t look out of place. The Dragonpunch RC Ti ballstuds are a great bit of kit, very nicely machined. Was glad to fine new ...

Re: Losi XXT Restoration Project
Got more assembly done this evening. Turnbuckles look great. Using a Losi steering bearing kit and the action on the steering is awesome. Noticed there is a bit of slop where the caster block and control arms connect, I might try making some shims. Hate how discolored the bell cranks are and might m...

Re: Losi XXT Restoration Project
Assembled the rear suspension tonight and new tires arrived. Using jconcepts carvers in the front and drop steps in the back. Really want to find a fresh pair of rear wheels. Might try to make my own new lexan dishes for the rear since the ones i have are pretty trashed. The new old stock MIPS cvds ...

Re: Airbrush paint help
I am using proline, it scratches if i dont back it. I use rust-oleum 2X clear (any plastic safe clear is probably fine). I am new to airbrushing and have only used proline paints. The paints don’t work out of the bottle for me either. I have to use vallejo flow improver with them to prevent clogging...

Re: Losi XXT Restoration Project
Almost completely assembled. Put a factory works carbon front hing pin plate. Installed the servo using contemporary AE ball studs and cups. Installed the motor to find the motor plate is badly bent and the pinion and spur wont align, found a NOS one on ebay and waiting for it to arrive. Testing out...

Re: Losi XXT Restoration Project
Installed the electronics tonight. I had bought the shorty lipo holder for the XX but didn’t like how it worked with my battery. I modeled up a part in autodesk fusion to hold the battery and esc. The part fits snuggly in the battery channel and has carve outs that fit the battery pack and esc. I mo...

LOSI 22 5.0 SDSH SLIPPER (TLR232085) TO LOSI XX ADAPTER
Created a small adapter to allow the Losi 22 5.0 SDSH Slipper (p/n: TLR232085) to work comfortably on the top shaft of XX/XXT transmissions. The adapter adds 10mm of space between the spring and washer/nut so you can use the full range of compression on the slipper spring without interference or slo...
