You are right, we all know the TRX1 was breathing down Masami's neck at the 91 Worlds. So clearly this car was a secret factory attempt to lure Masami over to Traxxas.

Bandit rear arms are the same. You can also use Bandit/Rustler front arms, you'll need to use some spacers on the suspension shafts. Great work, that is a small width difference and not a big deal. Best part is now you can just use Bandit parts which are cheap and easy, realistically will drive the same as original.

With a few upgrades to stronger plastics I see Super Astute as good as any race buggy of time. Add in a carbon chassis and IFMAR champ. I might go so far as to say no need for the Dyna Storm evolution. If nothing else, it sure is sexy to look at.
