Re: Left overs from my original Optima and Turbo restos
Since these pics I’ve shortened the travel on the front shocks a bit (but springs are way too hard), and lengthened the bottom links on the rear. The towers I used I got years ago from I don’t even know where, the rear is way longer than standard, Happy to now have a Javelin sitting amongst my other...

Re: Ultimate Tamiya Egress Thread
I’ve not been here much lately, but thought I’d share my latest build. It’s a 2013 released kit, that I sourced some reproduction BF8/9 parts, and blue rod ends to replicate the original release. Other than these, and blue wheel nuts  , the rest is built pretty standard. https://live.staticfli...

Re: Yokomo MX-4........ Restore or part out?
Bumping an old thread here, RJ gifted me this project quite a few years ago. I’ve finally started checking what parts it will need, have just ordered new re-pro belts and a couple used upper bulkheads. I’ve made a parts list but the whole slipper is going to be a challenge I think. Will get some Fib...

Kyosho Pegasus - 13 year project
When I say 13 years, I mean I bought this 13 years ago, but only just decided to rebuild it. I sourced some bearings and used everything else that came with the car. The only thing that hasn’t gone back into it is the Lemans 480T, That has been cleaned up and is on display with some others. How the ...

Re: What your workstation looks like?

Re: Yokomo MX-4........ Restore or part out?
I've been in regular contact with BezerkRC, for those interested they have now added the carbon parts to their website, available in plain weave in both gloss and matte, or twill weave in matte. Paul is still working on the battery strap so that will be added soon. https://bezerk.com.au/mx-4-parts/

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - January 2024 ** - Winner - coxbros1
I dont drive any of my cars that have an MSC fitted. I think I’ve only got 4 or 5 cars with an MSC. “Vintage” ESC’s cost so much these days, so if I can complete a car with the MSC I do
