Here are some oldies.
The holy grail of Reedy shirts...
Most of these are Reedy shirts. Mike always liked to have his own designs made for the Worlds.

Re: we all have big toys too don't we? show off your ride!
This is a cool thread! I also have some big toys. 155.JPG Alfa Romeo 155 16V Trackday toy. Very well balanced, but could use more power. And no, the decals did not make it faster... :D 7.JPG Lotus Seven type clone. 2 litre Ford engine. Fantastic fun on the track! 7_1.JPG Built from a partial kit con...

Hello from Ohio
I have been lurking around here long enough, it's about time for me to sign up. I have like others gotten the RC itch and picked up a few gold pan chassis. The plan is to cobble together what I can - have some fun and see where I go from there. I heard there are some good tracks in Ohio, can anyone ...

11 years smoke free
Today is an anniversary for me. Today makes 11 years since I finally put down the cigarettes and became a 100% smoke free person. One of the best choices I ever made for my health 8) Wasn't easy to do for sure. I was a pack of menthol per day smoker and tried every way out there to try to quite. Tri...

Tiny Hawk?
This is sort of a branch off from the Mini Jrx2 thread. Jeff pointed me to some Traxxas Hawk cad files and being as the hawk was my first performance RC I have been considering making a mini version of it as I have been designing all these parts for the Mini Jrx2. I printed off a test chassis but wh...

Re: Your top five cherished RC (by manufacture) in a collection?
Losi Micro T  I forgot about those little guys! I think I had more fun with it than any other RC I ever owned. We had an epic oval track series going at my work, with 3 or 4 races each day. I made a small, laughably crude, paper "traveling trophy" that went to whoever won the most re...

RC10 DS unboxing in 2022 (Japan kit)
This is an unboxing of the RC10 DS kit from Japan. This is the racer spec kit with teflon-coated shocks and full bearings. I think most Associated kits sold in Japan were all racing spec since parts and hop-ups were harder to come by. Mine didn't come with a body...is this normal or just missing? Th...

1985 IFMAR Offroad 1/10 World Championships
I traveled to Del Mar in July of 1985 to attend the first 1/10 scale off road championships. I had a 35mm SLR camera and took 50+ pictures. Some good, some not so good. The pictures were on display in my hobby shop until I closed it in the early 90's. If you want to take a look I have them in an alb...

Action RC Racing & History podcast
I've been working on a podcast series for a while now - the early episodes picked up a lot of Australian R/C history, but now moving further afield. Recent episode featured Robin Schumacher and upcoming eps over next few weeks have some more international flavour. It's been great fun doing the resea...

Re: Losi Mini-T "1.0" vintage buggy conversion
Cool project! I believe the 75% scale of 1/10 scale works out to be about 1/14th scale overall. I wonder if it will really end up being a little larger than the modern Mini-B (1/16 scale), or if Losi just didn't get the numbers quite right. I know the mini JRX2 is more around 1/14 scale than 1/16 i...

Re: Losi Mini-T "1.0" vintage buggy conversion
Not yet the perfect beauty but it will do it for a while and for testing. The first runs are very promising, handling is much more stable and consistent than the original truck version. It was not a big deal, three parts (chassis, upper deck, upper-deck-to-servo-saver-stiffener-plate) fell out of my...
