Re: RC10Talk - Celebrating 19 Years!
someone owns this domain and then presumably he makes money from ad revenue like everything else? Do moderators make money on this like YouTube chat? Figure this is a "safe" place to ask my clueless question  I don't think there's any money being made here, just trying to bring in en...

My Green 40th Edition RC10 Build
Here's my green 40th edition build so far. As soon as it was released I too decided to dye all the plastic green and black. Tried to make everything green and black, replaced silver colored parts and hardware with black where possible, installed black steering arms and ball cups from a DS, green tie...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Never thought I'd find one of these. This was my first RC10. Pretty sure mine was a late edinger simply due to when I purchased it but this Cadillac is close enough. The kit came as stripped down as could be- no electronics, no body, no wing, no driver. I had a stock car body on mine first, later we...

Re: Team Associated RC10 2025 Metallic
Then a long comes a guy named FAN and I couldn't be happier for him but the China bashing crowd is suddenly his best friend. He isn't promoting his item with an American flag and patriotic music though :P The quality of the FanRC parts and kits, IMO, are far superior to the current AE releases. I j...

Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)
Yeah I'm gonna let them figure that out, hahaha. I'm done spending money just to have them clone it. I already have something else cooking. Looking at the salary they are willing to pay in their job postings for an experienced engineer expected to live in the Los Angeles area, you're better off. :l...

Re: Novak Servo ID - And the Histroy of Novak Servos in general?
Novak servos were based on Bantam Midgets iirc. They share a lot anyway. If you get bored, Google Bob Novak and you will see his extensive history in rc, especially aircraft early on. He was a huge influence on the industry outside of the orange car stuff we know. Attached a pic of one of my Bantams...

Re: Novak Servo ID - And the Histroy of Novak Servos in general?
Occasionally one of the early Novak receivers pops up. It's basically 2x the size of a NER-2S. They are not externally marked. I haven't opened it up to check internals.

My take on the Dec 1987 RCCA Project Optima truck
For those not familiar with the Project Optima truck, you can read the article here: https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?t=11218 I've always loved the look of this truck. This magazine article came out when I was in the 8th grade, however, at the time it cost more than 2 years of my allowance. I'...
