that looks like a tip of a self tapping screw, also known as a TEK screw. The tip of the screw looks like a drill and is very hard.

Good job extracting that screw tip...you have a lot of patience and perseverence.

I agree with the above statements: great job in extracting that tiny screw tip! Each and every broken screw extraction is a win for mankind. This particular one, with no damage to the surrounding material, is an inspiration! Keep up the good work!

I have those little Delta shocks on the sprint car and the Dominator. The shock body, plastic cap and spring collar in your photo appear to be identical to what I have.
