Re: 4WD SRB Racer
Thanks for the kind words fellas. I still don't have a camera that can record decent footage. Life seems to get in the way of RC plans sometimes.
There will be a video though. I think a lot of people would like to see it running.
Thanks again.

Re: SG Coyote differences
Bottom chassis spacer. The Lexan underguard screws to this piece. I can't tell if the top one is an early version as it came in a later 2WD kit. The bottom one is definitely more common.

Re: SG Coyote differences
From what I've read, when the original plastic diff, crown and pinion gears were used, the failure point always seemed to be, either the diff gears shredding, or the gearbox pinions turning on their shafts as they simply slid on. When the pinions failed this in turn lead to the crown gears being mut...

TAG Pro 10
I scored a couple of very well used Pro 10s nearly two years ago. They'd been converted to nitro, consequently, both the motor mounts were hacked. A lot of the parts are re-useable. I have a few new parts to add to the mix as well. This will be a shelfer as I have an SG Coyote that I will run. Plus ...

Re: TAG Pro 10
New bulkheads, chassis spacers/servo mounts fitted plus the diff housings. The shock towers are from Factory Works and are top notch. I have the originals but they are well past their use by date. The drive shaft linking the front and rear diffs isn't fitted yet.

They certainly are. Really nicely made.
They are! Err....maybe not. Could be for some other crazy project.

Re: TAG Pro 10
I gave the shocks a thorough going over with sandpaper and metal polish after de-anodising them. The rears had suffered from years of spring gouging and really needed it. They're not perfect but they look great compared to what they used to look like. Note the brass spring collars. Pretty nifty.

Re: TAG Pro 10
Cleaned up the rear dogbones, drive cups and front universals with a wire brush in the Dremel and some sandpaper. I had to knock a bend out of one of the universals with a hammer. The whole lot was coated with Tamiya black spray paint to stop the dreaded surface rust reforming. Added the wheel tyre ...

It'll be good to get it fitted.

Re: RC10 Classic popularity
It's entirely possible that if the demand is high enough it could be reproduced. Though they'd probably want to sell more than the initial run of Classics to make it worthwhile.

Re: More Le Mans Motor Lovin'
Hey! What's wrong with the 240ST? At least it's not a Mega Motor.
I know, they just don't grab your attention like the three piece can Le Man's.
Are you going to get a reproduction 480 Gold sticker or try to find an original?
