Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)
Took a few comparison pics along the way compared to our 2015 original Ten4. Still working on sourcing a set of our original Robinson made pulleys and idlers to show for comparison, but they went 15t which is exactly what we did, and the same belt as well. They will find that this skips a lot, as we...

Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)
They don't see it that way, they bullsh!t themselves like their kit is the natural evolution of their original 1985 chain drive 6 gear prototype that was never seen since then. I guess we both just guessed correctly 🤷🏼♂️😬 I feel like the pics speak for themselves. Fixed a little, in my opinion.

Factory Works Ten4.1
I’m glad I purchased a kit from Jeff when I had a chance. It’s been stashed since September-24, but with the current situation there’s no excuse not to build. Initially I was going for a MIP Legends feel with a powder coated chassis, but now I’m just going with a gold pan. Haven’t decided how to ori...

Re: Here we go again.....
I finally had time to paint the body. I have been putting it off time and time again as I couldn't find the motivation to paint it. I found I made some window mask templates last time which greatly reduced the time spent masking. 20250316_010255.jpg Nearly done, I couldn't be bothered masking the ro...

Tamiya Novafox/Factory Works No Fox Given
Building one of these up for some Vintage racing, because I didn’t just want to be like everyone else. Starting out with a New Kit https://tcphotos.net/images/2025/02/24/IMG_8467.jpeg With some JC Racing original style 2.2 wheels, and Schumacher Astro Tyres. Also using RC10 wing wire and buttons, an...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - March 2025 ** - Winner - silvertriple
I got to see the chain drive Frog in action for the first time today. I dig it. Quieter than anyone would think. I got a few more cars I'll post later.

MIP Legend rere
Eustace will be running the prototype for the continuation of the Legend this weekend. I'll update when I can. Notable differences- the front end is updated with a stronger carrier and hub design. Same front transmission but the slipper is now more like a single pad rulon style slipper and mounted t...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Made some progress on the backyard track. I'm trying to get as many rocks out of the dirt as possible. The mini JRx2's, mini T's and mini B's don't care much for rocks.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Just about complete on another long-running project, my mk1 Ford Escort body - now on a TT01 chassis. Recent jobs: - Clearancing the wheel arches (not a fun job!) - Selecting wheels and tyres to suit - Fitting body to chassis - Creation of front grille area from scratch - A few small extra decals I'...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Robbed the parts bins and found enough parts to throw together a basher to test out the TPS style transmission. The trans held up well! Blew through a set of foams in a couple packs
