Re: TRX-3 Build

I have a broken trx3 upper plate too. Thought I would use it to make one also. Thanks for the advice and explaining how you made it. Yours looks great.

Re: Novak black tape

Just for looks, I used some 6mm Tamiya masking tape that I colored with a Sharpie.

Re: What's in the mail? Or, What are you currently waiting for?

From FleaBay, pounced on a BIN. Had to change my shipping address though  Anyway, I have high confidence that Lunsford got the lengths correct. Unlike Tecnacraft. Phooey! But Traxxas always did have a paltry hop-ups aftermarket, with their relative flash-in-the-pan "racing" efforts....

Re: What's the best R/C car name ever?

"XXX" because in the age of the early internet it made looking up information a whole lot more interesting.

Re: Back In My Day ..................

I was watching one of my youtube channels, https://www.youtube.com/@80sLife , and he was attending a fair that had an interesting exhibit, for typewriters. Then it hit me, when I was in 9th grade, I took a typewriting course in high school, and TBH, I was one of the few males in that class. In '88-'...

Re: What's the best R/C car name ever?

Something tells me that we've veered off topic a touch here. Why don't we all just settle down a bit, kick back with a couple chicks and a cup of coffee, and redirect back to where we should be, looking at Midnight Pumpkins! What about Vanessa's Lunchbox? I've wondered about that too. Was...

You can strengthen the front with longer inner hinge pins and a turnbuckle across the front bulkhead. That will reduce the probability of snapping the bulkhead if yo...

Re: Back In My Day ..................

Man...we only played video games when you couldn't be outside! We never had video games, ever! A grade school friend had an Atari that we'd play Asteroids on whenever we'd get together. My high school crowd had Commodore and Commodore II computers, when I started driving to school, it was always to...

Re: 2.2" wheels for TRX-1 & TRX-3

The Team Durango DEX 210 front wheels are disc style, and use 5x10mm bearings. They have a modern offset, so they might narrow the front down a bit. You could compensate with Bandit arms.

Re: Back In My Day ..................

.....bimd...was the same as last weekend, only 38years later.....thanks to CMB Belley, France and Belleysanne2025. Where everyone spoke the same language, (Vintage) and a bunch of old dudes (this old dude included) could be young and some young dudes could shine as well! The barbecue was epic. :wink...
