Post your vintage PRINTS here in the vintage RC Photo Album
For those younger guys, this might be confusing, but bear with me
This is a place to scan you favorite printed photos and carefully slide the into this online photo album.
Here is the ungodly photo album my few RC photos were in Here is me at age 13 or 14 sporting my pink AE/Reedy T shirt showing off my RC10 and Hornet...and no, those metals are not from any RC races This was my first RC10 (Cadillac) inside and out. I wasn't much of a painter, but tried another body anyway. It's a bit better than the last one, but not by much It's running over the Turbo Hopper, so it's cool oh, plase don't hate me for painting a Sidewinder body like that
A close up of the old and ugly Hornet. More pink, what was I thinking I drew some inspiration down for fun, and yes that is a jrx2 in the bottom left. It's alright though, there's Kyosho and Tamiya stuff up there too.

Re: Post your vintage PRINTS here in the vintage RC Photo Album
this should be a fun thread.................
i only have a couple of old pics that ive scanned.
here's my junior-t (on the right) shortly after i built it in 1991, along with my friend's junior-t. he's the one that actually got me started in r/c racing.
after i had destroyed the junior-t body, i somehow (don't remember how) aquired a used parma bigfoot body, so i threw that on it. this would've been 1992, since that's what year is on the trophy. 1st place a-main! and yes, that's me at 15.
and here is my graphite team car after the 1993 dirt oval championships where i finished 7th in the a-amain.

I think the clothes and furniture in these photos will be just as entertaining as the RCs

Here are some old Polaroids I found of my brother's first RC10 on the left and my first RC10 on the right...probably from '92 or '93:
My brother's first 10T from around '94...It had a graphite chassis, RPM front arms & bulkhead, and Raborn sliders & rear arms:

This is in my garage with 3 of my friends the day before race day.
One practice day at Arecibo Race Way in Puerto Rico.
Mine are the white, yellow, green and black paint schema.- Seabass

I remember those little fold-up tables - folded up into kind of a long brief-case looking thing... I always wanted one, never had the money...
((Unfortunately, I never took pics of my racing days in the mid-late 80's.))

I still use a blue one given to me by Gene after a Winterchamps race here in Florida. I use it each time I go to the indoor track.

My 1985 RC line-up: RC10 - RC100 - RC12i
My high mileage early RC10 in 1989 before being sold for an RC10 Graphite Team Car in 1990
This is my new body & wheels on my RC10 (but I don't remember what car this is? The gold shocks are throwing me off)
Now with wing and new wheels
And my buddy's new built RC10 Graphite 1989 (new member here "M3Guy")

Yeah I remember those too. Most of the big boy racers would back their pickup truck up close to the track and then unfold the great big homemade plywood race case. They almost resembled a scaled down refrigerator made out of wood. I think that was the only reason I took woodshop in highschool. Wanted to make one, but my productivity level was unfortunately too low...

here are a couple of my rc10 and traxxas bullet on my backyard track. I honestly couldn't tell you how the RC10 was built at that point under the body, and I have no idea where that body went, either.....

Re: Post your vintage PRINTS here in the vintage RC Photo Al
Its nice to see these old pictures.... afterall its kinda why we are all into these old R/Cs - to re-live our youth!
Heres some of my scanned-in photos.... unfortunately these are not quite as vintage as some that have already been posted, covering mostly from early to late 90s.
(these had already been posted - but went missing in the great RC10Talk crash)
Me with my Schumacher TopCat.. with front end off a Mardave Meteor
This photo shows my first four cars, from left to right; Cougar (converted TopCat), Tamiya Hornet with Parma Baja shell (My very first car) Mardave Meteor (2nd car) - with GM Vauxhall Astra Rally bodyshell & Mardave Cobra
Another shot showing the Schumacher Cougar & Mardave Cobra
The Cobra on our local off-road track (near the Weetabix factory)
A couple of my mate's cars (both Losi XXs) at the above track near Kettering (UK)
The Mardave Cobra now wearing Marlboro Mclaren/Penski colours
It was raced at this track in a sports hall in Northampton during the winter with great success
The Cobra was replaced (for outdoor duties) with a Losi XX... best car I ever raced.
(Note Tekin 411p speedo, Kinwald motor & Trinity 'World Tech' SCRC batteries)
This is me & my (still) good mate John (i'm in the blue Tshirt) at our pit tables during a meeting at a track just round the corner from the Schumacher factory.
Me & My dad built this race-box - this picture shows my XX, Cobra & my RC12L graphite all with the same paint job.
Heres the XX again, still with the 'Team Dan' shell design
The above picture was taken just after a National indoor meeting held on this track at Worksop (Nr Nottingham, UK)
The car in action on the Worksop track
Think I finished mid-way/bottom of the 'B' final
