OK, so it showed up... I'm having an issue with the seller as she did not include everything shown in the auction (I'm missing the antenna for the Kraft radio, which she apparently threw out along with the styrofoam box...

) She insists I got a "great deal" as a consolation

Give me a break, I was the high bidder on a no-reserve auction...
This appears to have never been run...the Futaba FP-T 2F radio gear still has all the protective coatings on the Tx meter, frequency disc, servo labels, and Rx label. I didn't take any pics of the radio gear as I'm still cleaning it all up, but the chassis cleaned up amazingly! There are no scratches or other noticeable wear to anything! Looks like it was built and put away before even charging (the original GE Saft) batteries. I am soaking the battery in WD40 to get the fiberglass strapping tape residue off, but did give it a little romp on the old Victor IQ and it seems good!
The tires show no wear, but are quite rotten (I have new donuts and complete wheel/tire assemblies when the time comes

). The body looks like a prepainted AE Porsche 917K30, not trimmed the best but pretty good overall. Jay, if you could post a pic of an uncut version of this shell I'd appreciate it!
The only paperwork supplied was the original AE parts listing from 1980, it's an interesting read. I'll get it scanned at some point. This kit pre-dates the diff axle, athough there was a NIP one included with the earliest type AE package header card (maybe not as early as some of the RC100 stuff...

). I'll get some more pics up when I get the radio gear cleaned up and installed!
I'm pretty well pleased with this one, it's almost as exciting as my Delta car...
