I was cleaning out my closet and found this from years back. I believe they sold them at KB toys and had a few different Tamiya models. 1/32nd scale I think and were called 'Juniors'. Has a little Mabuchi motor and runs on two AA batteries. Not R/C of course.
Came with removable plastic pegs for the rims to run it tilted, lol.
Hahaha...Its Tamiya Monster Mini 1/32. It can be modified into rc with some parts from Tamiya. Simple forward, reverse, left and right. I've been racing them till to date (just won the First Placing for Tamiya Pro Mini 4WD race last Sunday) . Still have a few NIB now. Its comes with torque gear ratio capable to climbing 40 degrees. Change it to High Speed gears and you'll be surprise with the speed!
My collections:
Nikko Brat, Nikko Dictator II, Nikko Thunder Eagle, Kyosho Pure Ten Nitro, Associated RC10, Associated RC10T, Associated RC10 Graphite, Associated B4, Tamiya Tamtech 1/24 Porsche 962C, Tamiya Striker, Tamiya TRF 501X WCE.

Never seen parts from tamiya to make it RC. Got a link or some pics of yours? Would like to see that.

I didn't want to spend much as it's a new learning curve. More so the plane.
The boat is dirt cheap at $40.00 with servo & brushless motor. The Esc I bough is rated higher then what is needed & is...

Can't see the servo in the picture (probably micro) but yeah, at $40 can't hardly go wrong. I haven't gotten into boats, not a lot of easily accessible bodies of water in Arizona. But the plane should pretty well in low/ no wind or a large indoor...
So i have been lurking around on the forums for a litlle while, and i have been wondering if anyone has ever tried to create/ modify a car to be a 6 wheel drive? i know there are already 6x6's but i was talking about making a track car and not a...

I've toyed with the idea of using lazer zx-5 gearboxes cut in half and two fronts grafted together so you would have an input shaft and an output shaft to drive another gearbox. The only real problem i can see is that the zx-5 gears are not that...
well, the 55 chevy my dad and i have been building is pretty much done. waiting for one of the tail light bezels to come back from the chrome plater, and the front end needs to be lined up. after that, she'll be on her way home, and we'll be on to...

The only thing that kept me out of the resto business was sanding. I can't stand freaking sanding down a vehicle. And if that is not done right, the entire job is just crap.
Thought I would share, as this is something you don't see every day (I am sure that temple and cline will appreciate more than most, as they are 1/12 freaks). Not sure how old they are, but I assume very. I need to see if they will fit the Bolink...
well, i spent yesterday down at the York US30 Reunion in York, PA. there was a bunch of old drag cars there. gassers, fuel cars, super stock/fx cars, and factory lightweights. there were other cars there also, such as the original 55 Chevy from the...

Cool, thanks. Not every day that you see Bill Jenkins’ name on something other than a Chevy.
And what’s the deal with US30? That’s where one of the primary drag strips used to be in Indiana, northwest up by Chicago. Memorable radio ads with some...
A buddy of mine just got a job at some place where they have a ton of cnc's and some presses. He says they stamp out alot of trays and stuff for hospitals. So I had the idea to stamp out some tubs.He said I would have to drill out the holes.Would this...

I gotta say that I'm surprised that some small company has started doing this for the entire industry. Isn't something like this done for real cars (vintage, much older, etc)? What's the difference between genuine and replica except price and the...
