Rear shock strut ?

Post by ra272 »

Hi, I was looking at this auction:

http://cgi.ebay.fr/Vintage-Unbuilt-Associated-RC10-Gold-Pan-RC-Car-Buggy_W0QQitemZ250089591903QQihZ015QQcategoryZ44017QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

The rear shock strut in the bag seems strange. Is it the standard design for the stealth CE?

i dunno what the heck that is.

if you look in the 6-4 bag you can see the correct rear tower. since some of the bags were opened and then had the parts put back in maybe there happened to be another shock tower that got mixed in with the other stuff.

One of the other pics shows an aftermarket rear tower as well. One must assume that extra parts were puchased with an eye towards on road or DO... :wink:

CE = Collectors Edition... :lol:

It is an unbuilt kit, so that's really why so high. Odd that it's gone that high with three and a half days to go.... :?

Your CE is beautifull (very very), I really like this car: I'm actually restoring a 6 gears CE but mine is as usually 100% made of used parts :lol: :lol:

You've found some nice parts :) I think any classic rc10 is worth having (as long as it's viable), whether it be a 6010, CE, Team Car, Graphite whatever they are all special, some a little more than others I suppose. 8)

What I mean is if someone can spend over 400$ on a "NIB" but open, basic CE Stealth with bushing; how much for a team car.... :?
