Bought A Collection

Post by tizeye »

Not sure if I should post this here...got a call from a friend yesterday who said that he was moving out of town and wanted to know if I was interested in any of his collection..hell yeah..here are a pictures of the ones that I've bought..(see update below) he says that there are more but he needs to dig them out..some of these cars I've never seen before so a little research is in order...we agreed on a single price for each car accross the board..so some I might of paid a bit much for while others were cheap..still it's funny how one day you are flush with cash the next day you're not..

Cheers Paul I'm obviously not going to keep them all so keep an eye on the BST section...I'm heading over to his place later today to see what else he's come up with..

Very nice variety of cars there mate..... you look to have picked up quite an interesting collection! And with the cheap cost of postage NZ - AUS, you can have them here in no time!!!

Seriously though..... very nice!

I've just come back from the guys house who is selling the collection..he has at least 30 cars in mint condition most with boxes and all are very rare..so ignore the above pictures after seeing the rest of his collection I'm changing my mind on some of them..in saying that Dave is very reasonable with his prices..a couple of other cars worthy of note are a 1/12 scale Kyosho Mini from about 1983 unused with box..and another car which he claimed was the first mass produced rc car built in the USA it looks to be 1/12 scale and a bit like a funny car but with working tail and head lights...very very cool..

Since being on this site I have found that I have too many parts and R/C Models. Please help me get rid of them. ;-)

So are you going to buy the whole collection or just pieces of it?

Any chance he would let you take pictures of the collection so you could post it here for all of us to see? That would be cool!

I didn't know but he's got stuff already listed on ebay...but he would pull the auctions if he could get what he wants elsewhere..so no I'm not going to buy his whole collection just as much as I can afford...

Beautiful collection of cars! I love the assault. I have always wanted one of them. Takes me back to when I was a small kiddie as opposed to being a big one.
