Will newer model shock rebuild kits work on gold shocks?

I need a shock rebuild kit for a set of gold shocks. Will the newer RC10 rebuild kits work on these? IE B2,B3?? Is the original rebuild kit still in production?

The current rebuild kits will work with ANY of the associated top load shocks.

However, on the original bottom load shocks, you will need to retain the bottom plastic washer and c clip for reuse. The o-rings and teflon spacers in the new rebuild kits can still be used to get them back into shape though.

If you need the c clips, they can be purchased from McMaster Carr or Grainger.

There is a Traxxas shock rebuild kit that you can use to replace the bottom plastic washer and the larger c-clip. Fits like a champ. Between that and some new o-rings, you're set.
