Interesting article and first time I hear what chassis JJ was running. I always thought it was a Trinity one, or a JG unitas others claim. D&D... never heard of, and if it's a UK product I really doubt JJ would've had one.

I just bought a kyosho mid optima in excellent condition, with box, instructions, controller, everything.
I would like to restore it to mint condition and by doing so i need to get a new body and wing and decals

if original...

There's an easy way to determine if your front shocks are Kyosho Golds or Duratrax...pop off a shock bottom ball-end, remove the spring and take a close-up picture of the bottom (narrow end) of the shock body. The pic below shows the difference;...
