MY NEW OPTIMA MID SPECIAL!

Just picked this one up,should be here in a few days.
I was going to turn it into a Mid SE,but after finding out how rare they are-only two kits per store were supplied-I'll kee it as a Special.
I'll grab a body,undertray,wing and decal set of Marwan and have at it!
I hate those 8 hole rims...Always liked the regular Mid rims,better.
Should look good parked next to my Turbo Ultima.

There were so many versions of the mid that I can't figure out which is which. Didn't that version of the mid come with the yellow 8 hole wheels?

yes thats correct roger. it was the only optima that came with a bigger box, which housed 2 complete sets of wheels & a carbon fibre chassis stanard in the kit (limited to 2 kits per store) the body was also very rare never had the little bubble in it like fasterlouder's does. nice pick up with the buggy buy the way

I've always hated those 8 hole rims!
If anyone has some regular Mid rims,I'd be happy to trade the 8 hole rims for them.
Should look killer painted up box art style and parked next to this...

both cars look very cool. Nice looking Turbo Ultima, I am working on one but need a Body and decals.

Absolutely-A guy named Marwan in Kuwait (of all places!) does reproduction bodies,wings,undertrays and decal sets for almost every Kyosho around.
Good quality and really good prices,too.

The only used parts left on my Turbo Ultima are the shocks,sway bars and the ball diff.
My 1st restoration and I don't even want to think what it cost me!
