Back in 1987 or 1988 Tekin made both their ESCs and mini receivers with fluorescent pink cases (or you could get them in red).
The pink cases could ordered separately too.

Nah mate, it's a relay.... when you go full power, the relay provides full voltage to the motor.

Hey Alex.

Have you ever herd of STW speed controllers back in days of racing the PB.

I bought one but was a brick it was almost bullet proof though. had adj current limiter as well.

I was in W.A at that time.

Cheers.

Mark,

I never actually *raced* my old PB.... but I did run an old ESC in it, and it was an Ozifet - big brick of a thing. Have not heard of STW, but will do some searching.....

polarbear,

Mine did not come with the optional brake control (see scan here: http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=5286). Come to think of it, when I did try mine, there was no brakes at all!!! I thought it was busted at the time..... maybe the brakes are just turned down / off....
