Hirobo Alien Mid 4

Post by tizeye »

Anybody know anything about these cars?..it looks pretty awesome but I'd say fragile..all I know is:..Hirobo Alien Mid 4 - 1/10 scale, midship 4 wheel drive (belt drive to front axle), racing buggy complete with manual and RC gear. It has had very little run time..the owner says about 4 runs on grass..it's in very very good condition.... don't own it but I guess I could..

Pretty much a mid motored Zerda. They actually went very well, however the suspension flex and other issues made the car a little redundant when it came out. The Zerda was hugely popular, with mods like mid motor conversions and stronger suspension being done to them. Problem was is that Hirobo were about 18 months off the pace when it came to adressing the issues witht he Alien Mid and also the invader. Most racers had moved to better technoplogy in regards to suspension etc by the time Hirobo got to releasing these cars.

Still qa very quiet and "polite" car to drive with a relatively rugged feel to it.

Cheers

Darryn
