The LosiXX - it was the car I had the most success with, handled so well on any track, & I cannot remember ever breaking anything on it. After a short spell racing Schumacher Fireblades I returned to Losi with a XXX - but it never seemed to be quite as agile as the older car.

Best of the rest for me was the British made Mardave Cobra - so simple yet so rugged & suprisingly effective, I raced mine indoors week-in week-out & often won, against much more expensive (& 4wd) competition. The cars real trump card was its cost - a fully ballraced & slipper clutch equipped car was half the price of anything else & the spares were equally cheap. It introduced so many new racers into the hobby... at my club & in the UK at least Oh & they've started selling the Cobra again!
