Just Another Hot Trick RC10 :-D
Hi guys and girls,
I don't normally post my projects before they even arrive but I thought I would this time, just to let you know I am still alive and into RC10's. I never intended to build a Hot Trick RC10 but I am looking forward to it...
So in a trade in tamiyaclub I have bought an RC10 with a Hot Trick chassis
Chassis
A few days ago on ebay I won a really knackered nose plate
My next posts will be of how the car has cleaned up (its going to be pretty rough but who cares) and what's next...
Cheers
Ed
P.S. Please let me know if you have any old Hot Trick parts (any condition as this isn't going to be perfect) which I might need for my project. Thanks.
P.P.S. Does anyone recognise the body?

shell??????????
Hi Anthony,
I am not sure about whether it will be a runner, but it has definetely been run before. I also have a few home made extra parts to go on there and depending on how they come out will determine whether it hits the track or not.
Oh and as for the shell i.d., you are probably right as it looks like the one in 'hooptys thread now you mention it. I hadn't thought it was a Chenowyth as I'd based my ideas of what a Chenowyth looked like from Shodog's.

I see on 'hoopty's shell that its stamped Chenowyth on the back. Were there two different types shodog's type and 'hoopty's?
Thanks for the reply anyway.
Cheers

P.S. Am after another set of Tecnacraft tie-rods

Shell and progress
Thanks for the shell info shodog. I really like this shell it looks great
Well this weekend the car arrived so I stripped and cleaned it. Turned out it had some brown paint on everything but it all cleaned up with a bit of elbow grease and is now reassembled.
So its now just waiting for the wide front end to arrive.

Yes
The nose cone arrived today and is in better condition than I thought.
Apart from one hole drilled off centre it looks great. Probably won't get it finished before going home for Easter though
Also no pics fo a week either.
