Questions about paypal claims.
Questions about paypal claims.
I just opened a dispute against someone for services that have not been rendered. I typed my message to the seller and paypal says that he cannot respond to the dispute and asks if I want to up this to a claim (which I did). So what does it mean "he cannot respond"? Did Paypal kick him off of paypal?

I have only had to do this once, but I believe Paypal just cuts off communication between you and the other party involved so they can resolve the issue. May be wrong, but seems as though I recall the same thing happening.

I have had this a couple of times, it means his paypal, and or ebay account are suspended, none of the messaging systems work while suspended, also means you get the claim automatically in your favour hopefully.

Well that would be nice. I could at least get the money back (maybe) that I paid him. Obviously not the parts though which would be another $100.

Re: Questions about paypal claims.
I filed a claim for $200 because of never receiving parts. The guy was suspended from pay pal. Now hes back, but its been over the time limit of when they will do anything about it. They said i waited too long to file the claim. Even though i saved the emails between pay pal and myself asking to have a dispute opened. which was only 2 weeks after not getting the parts and the guy not returning emails. I would just stay on them about it. And i also sent this guy some of my parts as a partial trade. Never going to see those again.
