Advance Eng wheels

Post by reign79 »

So im so happy to have some of these i saw the edge of them in a picture of a lot of rc stuff and took a gamble. Well i got them and i was sure happy to see they were advance wheels and even better there were two complete sets the other has slicks. Both appear to be unused but covered in CA. So i spent about three hours on the lathe and picking glue with the exacto knife. What do you think? I have a ascot build that has been in waiting :D

They look awesome. Nice score. I was on the hunt for Advance wheels and tires for awhile before I came across mine. Looks like the tires are in good shape as well. More often then not there tires are subject to pretty serious dry rot. Guess it just depends on how and where they are stored.
