What wheel size for TQ20's?

Post by metallicats33 »

I have a set of TQ20's that I just tried to mount on some wheels. They seam like they don't want to go on though. What rim size is correct for the TQ20's?

I had a helluva time getting the TQ-20 and TQ-70 tires on my SEE's aluminum wheels. I think it's the outer lips that make them so difficult to mount.

I actually used plastic bicycle tire mounting levers because my fingers were hurting so bad. :x

I think I cleaned em out already
Whats the part# for TQ rims? And How much should I ecpect to pay on the bay?
Are there any other options other than the TQ 2.0 Rims?

the tq rims are 6802, 6802Y, and 6802B. the b and y mean black or yellow. the other one is white.

everyone and brother made rims for the rc10 back in the day. hpi, proline, imex, etc.

That quote made me Look at some beat up wheels that came with my latest Graphite score. Sure enough they are 2.0" Proline's. They were Painted an ugly gold/bronze so I just kinda tossed em' to the side when I got them, I didn't even look at them long enough to realize they were a tad smaller than my other ones  I stripped the paint and cleaned them up real good.

This is what I got:

This is what they all looked like before:

Not pictured, but I test fitted the TQ's and they fit perfect
Thanks again for the help.
