Bulldog dog bone replacement

Post by vintage racer »

I would really like to run my Bulldog this weekend at our vintage get together but I am missing a front drive shaft, does anyone know of one that would fit from a different car.I tried Ultima but it was too short. If worst comes to worst Ill lengthen it but thought I would check with you guys first. Its a funny story how I lost it.I was racing at a vintage meeting down south and I clipped a pipe on the edge of the track and popped the dogbone.when I went back to look for it one of the marshals told me a guy ran onto the track and picked it up,cant beleive I missed that one but I think its pritty funny. He must have needed one real bad  .

The stock RC10 dogbone appears to be the same length as the bulldog's. You may have to modify the ball of the dog bone becasue it looks a little bit larger. Another option woud be to try the dog bone from a hirobo zerda. It looks to be about the same size.

hope this helps...

Thanks guys,I eventually found one that fits in a ebay junk gas car that blew both diffs the first time it was run.I think it was smartech brand.Atleast I finally got to use something from it.Please bring your stash still Gary as this one is a bit loose in the out drive.Thanks,James.
