Re: explain your screen name
When I was huge into Online Sim Racing I had the screen name ZRF_7 which always got me questions about what it meant. (Zuidema Racing Family #7) As I became more prominent in the community building game mods and painting car skins I change my screen name to SoloGraphix because I was just doing so much by myself without any mod groups, etc. it just seemed fitting.

Re: explain your screen name
Mine came from a couple of sources. Some thinks it’s because of my Dachshunds but really the SHO came from the Taurus SHO I had and the Dog from the rapper Shortdog.

The T-double O? From the O-A-K-L-A-N-D?

The preceding contained opinions, beliefs and thoughts that all may not agree with. No offense was intended at any point. Carry on.

Re: explain your screen name
I came on here in the midst of a Tamiya Super Champ restoration. I think I had "Al Ernat" (the driver's) name in my head because I was still needing decals...and I then I had "You Can Call Me Al" in my head because of that silly Paul Simon lyric..
...and then I typed Y'ernat Al. (This is an RC10 site, not a Tamiya one
). I have since learned that Al Ernat is actually not a fictional character created by Tamiya but a real dude that works/worked in some so-cal hobby shop, I believe Shodog has a story about him. -B

Mine is pretty easy reign is a band name I used when I was younger instead of Ryan. It just seemed more HEAVY

Mine is Besty -from Chris Best (surname) all my mates call me Besty and 22 comes from my Football jersey number
so - Besty22. Not much of a story.
it's also my username from the old Red Alert Days from command and Conquer
so - Besty22. Not much of a story.

Re: explain your screen name
most my life i was into the longer skateboards and the longboard style sk8ing...longboards were a way of transportation for me,in nyc, jersey shore , and around town ... id go to party or bar on a longboard (no dwi sk8ing).. i was known for showing up on my famous custom "drunk" board ... it was a long board that i cut away around where the trucks mount to fit the widest (indy) trucks and 100mm razor scooter wheels... this setup would roll over anything and get you home without a wipeout even if you were drunk... one day (over 10 years ago) at a friends house i wanted to get involved with something on a computer ... my friend said i can help you out, you need a screen name... how about longboardnj???

Re: explain your screen name
I've had my nickname since junior high school ('68) when I signed cartoons with my initials. When I signed up for racing as ARF I wondered why the guys called me "Almost Ready" until I saw the term in the Tower Hobbies catalog.
Re: explain your screen name
It's after my other play toy, a 1987 Buick Regal Turbo T WE4. It was the lightweight "racing" version of the Grand National. The production run was only 1547 and I own 1 of them.
