New to the forum and just wanted to first say thanks for all of the contributions to the forum. This place is great!
Restoring a few of my gold pans and found a great little trick to cleaning parts. I guess we've all used toothbrushes to get rid of a lot of the grime. But I found that a Water Pik filled with diluted Simple Green or Purple Power does an incredible job in getting the dirt out of the tiny areas. If you soak the parts first then use the water pik most of the grease and dirt come out.
Thanks and I forward to being a part of the forum.
