what kinda servos fit in an RC10B2????
So I have this B2 I picked up as a roller, and just happened to try and stick a steering servo in the car. I think it was an S128 or S148 futuba servo, standard size. It wouldn't quite fit in the small space for a servo. I checked the manual but they don't specify a specific size of servo.
so what is a good candidate to stick in this car??? A micro OR mini size?

Any standard servo will fit! The S148 should drop right in! I use a Futaba S9550 in mine and it's a standard width! You may need to used the spacers that come with the OEM servo mounts to move it forward!

I'll have to check again, I must be losing it. It seemed like the servo just wouldn't fit, both front to back, and side to side. maybe it's just that close?

They are a tight fit in the B2.
The B2 is the only car I use.
First servo was Airtronics XL2P
servo #94102
I now use Towerpro SG5010 Standard Servo
Dimension: 40.2x20.2x43.2mm (1.57x0.79x1.44in)
Works very well for $6

X2 . I have the S148 in my car and I used the thin spacers. If you don't have the spacers tower sell the servo mount. I think they have it listed as a T2 servo mount.Post some pics of the car when to get it finished.slotcarrod wrote:Any standard servo will fit! The S148 should drop right in! so i checked again, and they do fit, but it is tight! I have an S128 that has been used and the ears are slightly enlarged from using the wrong hardware, and it won't fit unless i trim a tiny bit of the ears. I have a brand new S3003 that JUST fits in there.

Good to hear you got it worked out.
Since it does fit in so tight,
it will be the last thing to fall out when doing cartwheels !!!!!
