LA-43 is listed as a Lazer zx part, but is the same 5.8mm end as used with the OT-35 ( Upper Rod Set) that the Optima, Optima Mid, Turbo Ultima, and many other Kyosho kits used. I hope this helps you Jason.

Kyosho USA still shows OT-35 as still available!

While Im asking questions concerning old Kyosho stuff Im also looking for coild to fit the Option House 'GOLD' shocks. I dont necassarily require OEM coild but wondering if the ZX5 coils are the same diameter?

The newer Kyosho ball cups you listed are the same size as the old cups, but have a matte finish instead of a gloss finish as on the Optima/Ultima/Lazer series of cars. As for the Springs, I just tried my ZX5 FS springs (yellow orange if you must know :) ) on a set of Kyosho Golds, and they fit just fine. Nominally smaller because of powder coating though. -Jeff
