Here is my Super J project. Still need to find a few things but it’s coming along nicely.

Similar but not same.
Old cells were 15 mm diameter where those new cells are 17mm.
So for a 5 cell pack there is a difference of 12 mm in length

Got this guy last week. Thought it was a Delta Super J? Maybe it is with aftermarket parts? It has an aluminum rear wing with wing strut that I haven't seen anywhere and the steering blocks are nice aluminum too. Just aftermarket? Or different...

Could be lead paint. The bill that banned lead paint passed in 1976 which is the same year that that CK760 wouldve been raced. :?

Hello,
I'm new to this forum and this is my first post. I collect and restore vintage 1/8 and 1/12 on road cars and like to share some pics of my Delta Super Phaser (early version).

It still needs a novak receiver and motor.

Thank you Bimdapogs. The main differences would be the chassis that doesn't have the additional holes to mount the middle body posts just behind the sub c batteries and the throttle servo mounting posts that are round compared to the later square...

Talk about bad handling characteristics...I can only imagine what dangling 6 cells that far out over each side of the car, then reducing the weight at the rear axle...
