I thought I heard that Bolink was sold, and that it is now RJ Speed? Or was that only certain models?

BoLink was scattered to the wind. Different companies bought different parts of it. The rest was sold on eBay. The person who bought the rights to the name and whatever inventory was left doesn't seem to be too interested.

I sent you a PM bearrickster.

Last year I sent bolink an email looking for any documentation they might have on my old Eliminator 12. I got a response in a week or 2, and this was what the president explained to me:
Tim, thank you for your interest in BoLink R/C Cars. Unfortunately we were provided little documentation regarding some of the older cars that BoLink made when we purchased the company from the prior owners. I have searched what documentation that I have and have found nothing regarding the Eliminator. I would suggest that you keep an eye out on ebay as kits and documents do appear there from time to time.
Also, from what I hear, I think they had a fire a long time ago that destroyed much of the original bolink stuff.

Murrdock RC, some dude in Iowa (whom carried on the Bolink) name and myself bought most of what he had. The rest as mentioned, the family sold on ebay.... although I haven't seen him sell anything lately.

There were a lot of rumors circulating around about the demise of BoLink but the fire one is definitely false.

Oh, as for the family demise of Bolink, I've got good information from a very reliable source that was close to the company.

I can't even remember who told me that. It wasn't an internet rumour, but it was probably somebody I shouldn't have put much stock in. :)

Alright heres what he said:

"We didn't keep it any big secret, people just loved to spread rumors... I heard we had a fire, I was running from the tax man, we had sold to many other companys, and/or that a spaceship came down and got me, lol. The truth is that the company was in bad shape when I bought it and I was too hard headed to let it go. I did what I could but it was too little too late. The body and Legends line has been sold to a new company in SC called CDI (cdiracingproducts.com).
