Post by m_vice »

Me Like, will this fit my DS? I am not a ON-road person but I am building my first DS and I am in the look out for a body.

I hope so,

I'd love to see this one done right!

My DS is getting a little bored with it's Bolink '66 Mustang body..
Projects and shelfers:
Late Edinger, RC10B2, Dual Sport, GT, Kyosho Turbo Ultima, Triumph, Tamiya Sand Scorcher, Blackfoot/Monster Beetle, '67 Beetle, Nikko Rhino, Traxxas Fiero, Slash, Hand-built Dune Buggy..all on here somewhere...

This 1971 Trans-Am body is 200 on the front and 210 on the rear... My DS is not built yet so I can measure and this being my first DS i have no experience with this sort of bodies.

Length:16.9" (429mm)
Width:F - 7.9" (200mm), R - 8.3" (210mm)
Height:3.9" (110mm)
Wheel Base:10.2" (260mm)

Love the mustang man.

Ok i have a newbuilt NDS i measured, I could be off a couple mm but its close lol, I think the body will work good, i might have to get one for my NDS lol.

RC10NDS
Wheelbase: 258mm
Rear width: 209mm
Front: 203mm

Now this is from a NDS, both my DS cars have had work to change the wheelbase, I think the NDS has the same basic sizes as a DS.

Thanks man, this sounds good to me. I will probable build my DS before I get the body but I think this us a very cool looking body.
