let's have a contest
most of us on here search high and low looking for rare, old, nip, etc. rc10 parts. we spend alot of time and money on these cars, restoring, or just building in general. this got me thinkling. over the years i have accumulated alot of parts, meaning parts i would never put on a car again, but parts i just can't seem to throw away. i'm sure many of you are the same way. so my idea is to ressurect all these junk parts, bring them back from the dead, and build the worst, ugliest, beat to crap rc10's the world has ever seen. i think i saw a few of these on ebay this week. i figure we could give like a month or so to build them, not that it would take that long, but, just for some sort of time frame.
just an idea i thought i'd throw it out there. see if there was any interest. what do you guys think?

I am in the process of sorting all the "worst of the worst, but still functional" parts to do just that. And race it!scr8p wrote:most of us on here search high and low looking for rare, old, nip, etc. rc10 parts. we spend alot of time and money on these cars, restoring, or just building in general. this got me thinkling. over the years i have accumulated alot of parts, meaning parts i would never put on a car again, but parts i just can't seem to throw away. i'm sure many of you are the same way. so my idea is to ressurect all these junk parts, bring them back from the dead, and build the worst, ugliest, beat to crap rc10's the world has ever seen. i think i saw a few of these on ebay this week. i figure we could give like a month or so to build them, not that it would take that long, but, just for some sort of time frame.

I'm in!
I think if you have a local track, you have to race it! (maybe some racers will take pity on your poor ride, and give you all the old stuff they have stashed away)

good junk partscrazybashin wrote:im in got one in process and alot of good junk parts to put on it
ya know, i had this idea, then went to dig up a tub chassis, and i could find one. go figure. i got this bbt sprinter chassis from a buddy of mine a couple years ago. brand new graphite one. the problem with it is he tried to do something "creative" with the front of the chassis, and screwed it up. so, i'll just use that.
