I would be in for one more set of 5 spokes

Yes, this is correct! And the rear adatptors should fit JRX as well.fordtransman wrote:My understanding is that Lohas includes an adapter hub for the RC10s rear drive. The front wheels use typical bearings.

Too early to know 'bormac', too late to know 'mrlexan', just in time to know 'murphy3428'.

But the fronts wont fit the JRX bearings. And if you use RC10 bearings, the bearings don't fit the JRX axles.emerson_shih wrote:Yes, this is correct! Of course, you have to change to another bearing. I had done this by another bearing for my JRX. But I have to check the bearing spec.greene-r74 wrote:But the fronts wont fit the JRX bearings. yeah if you could check on the specs that would be great. The axles are so thick it would have to be a really thin bearing.

Re: Lohas has essentially remade the tecnacraft wheel
I have a dumb question, (but please bear with me as I"m into mainly Tamiya's) I've just got my hands on my new wheels & it seems as though the rear wheels centre hole for the axle is way too large for my axle? Am I supposed to put bearings in the rear wheels as well to support the centre? I have alloy wheels currently on my rc10 to show as a comparison.
What has everyone else done?
Again, sorry in advance for the stupid question
regards
Jak

That was my concern and question. Emerson said to try a bearing after I was trying to make a spacer. I have not worked on my solution yet.

Also, what bearings did u use on the front wheels as the standard rc10 ones are too big?

My plan is to drill and axles size hole in a bronze bushing.

And that's why I never throw anything away.

For the fronts, I'm using flanged bearings and a ~3MM spacer.

I had the same plan. What are you guys spacing your front wheels with? Also are any of you using the rings to make the wheels wider?shodog wrote:My plan is to drill and axles size hole in a bronze bushing.

Re: Lohas has essentially remade the tecnacraft wheel
The rear wheels go on fine and can be held in place with a standard lock nut. I don't plan to run the wheels so this will be fine for the shelf but I still wanted a little nicer tighter fitment. But then what did the other guys do and no mention of this?

I had some bronze bushes in my kit box (I think Astute ones) that fit well, used them on the Graphite and the Ultima rears.RC10resto wrote:But then what did the other guys do and no mention of this?
