Stealth trans full bearing kit

Post by askbob »

After searching here, and yes google, I have yet to see a good source for a full set of quality ball bearings for the stealth transmission. I did find this if it is any good?: http://www.amazon.com/ASSOCIATED-STEALTH-Bearing-set-9/dp/B002BBM0VS

Any good quality sources?

You don't need to buy a kit, just select sizes and qty's from bearing suppliers like... http://www.avidrc.com

Thanks for that! Guess I better figure out which bearings I need to use with rear cvd's as well as front bearings with Lohas wheels and 3/16" axles while I'm at it.

Do note that dual seal rubber bearings tends to bind more and not that recommeded in a sealed enclosure, for hub axle(hub) bearings ,a single sided rubber bearings would keep the dust away, some go for dual rybber covered bearings and would remove one side and place the open sided inside the inner hub axle,.

What i did was i bought steal bearings for my stealth and in the outer hub, i bought a single sided rubber/steel bearing and placed the rubber side facing the outer hub to keep the dust away(stealth that is).

Well that is me,.

Imho.
