Lethal Slots

Post by Synergy »

I start this thread with the some well place words of Scr8p ringing in my ears:-

but hey, you too could have a rediculous amount of posts. here some ways of doing it:

So here is my finished build, well all but a Viper and wing.

As many of you know most of my builds tend to start with a donor car and this one is no exception. It came to me from rc10johnny as a very nice condition Andy’s armed Stealth equipped TQ10 so I pulled it apart  and fitted the components to one of DW911s lovely slotted chassis (I do like a new chassis).

I purchased the Lethal Weapon from Mr. Hugger of Trees with the intention of replacing my MIP trans in my A&L car but this proved too much hassle for me (being a man of little skill ) so it ended up in this, which is good as I thing it works well.

I also added some NIP Graphite/TQ10 wheels that I got from Scr8p some time ago and some new treads just to top it off :D

Now somewhere I have an A&L steering set that I intended throwing at this but can I find it :?: can I heck :(

Thanks guys, TBH nvxwax the shots are nowhere near as good as I would like as I'm lacking light, I need to rig a reflector up.

Thank you gents :D

David I believe BITD they used some sort of reinforced tape to hold the batteries in place hence the additional slots rather than a fixing hole :?:

BITD we would use some fiber tape on these chassis like on the 1/12 scale on-road cars.
Nice looking RC10. :D

Very nice...

... except you stole my very idea (Lethal weapon, A&L steering, Andy's arms, DW911 slotted chassis) for my summer project... Dang... gotta think it all over again now

That's the stuff m_vice thanks.

 sorry Paul and to think my builds are almost alway a result of what comes to hand with very little forethought to an end product, this chassis very nearly got a 6 Gear Graphite grafted on to it

PS: Yes fiber tape was the hot setup for sure back then.
