Do any of you run your Optimas with vintage tire/wheels and the chain? I love the look of the Sand Supers and with the new reproductions they are pretty affordable. I'm restoring another Optima runner and I was thinking about keeping more parts vintage. The nearest track is clay, so the spikes should work ok.
What about chain vs. belt? Does anyone run with a chain or is the maintenance just too much easier with a belt?
