Finally i have received photos taken by my wife back home of my RC10 B3 that i bought from a very nice guy here in the board, it arrived in our Post Office flawlessly delivered to our front door and there she goes. I was jealous with my wife for seeing this first before my eyes!
Yeah! sure looks nice and clean, im too excited to go home and see it on my own eyes!
i dont know if i will leave it unpainted or get some livery from Billy Easton or Masami Hirosaka paint schemes.
Awesome Gen, so glad it arrived safe and sound. She really is a time capsule beauty I must say and I couldn't believe the guy had it for sale for over 2 years on rctech with no takers. I got it because I felt bad that such a perfect B3 Team sat there languishing, not because I needed it so I am glad Gen will have a use for it.
Also those yellow B3 RPM parts on there are hard to find (new) these days. Gen, if you want some B3 Team spares for that car I have some nip still that I don't need.

Again thank you very much Adam, yes i might need those spares for my B3 and BTW do you still have that B3 runner without front shocks? just PM me for the NIP spares.
Those Yellow RPM parts are great and its a plus to that B3 indeed.

Well in fact i've ordered a set of front and rear black 5 spoke wheels and tires for my Orange RC10, since you gave an idea, i will put it on my B3, yeah! i think that will look nice. TY
For the paint scheme im skeptical for a simple monochromatic style, since B3 is not that vintage yet i can be more in Vivid colors.

All are put on hold any updates on the orange 10?
its on hold too! need motor gear cover, battery cups, antenna holder and a new front shock tower maybe from fiberlyte coz i hate to cut the body to fit on the 10T towers. YGPM about those parts i think?
Some job related issue with my agency. Thanks for the concern fredswain. I was trick into joining them and later landed a position that im not happy with. oh well .

What year did AE use the black idler gear for the 1st generation grarbox? I know the first kits came out with the white gear but I do not know when they stopped using it.. Anyone? :)

the black idler gears were on the rc10 graphite released in 1989. the tq10 didnt have the updated idlers when it was released. they must be good gears because mine still look new and my car is still being raced today
so i finally came into 2010 and got myself a touring /pan car i can get spares for.
i will run it narrow but will probably get the 235 conversion
and a bonus it came with a thunderpower 5000 lipo 1s
what ever that is  i know its not a car...

Just FYI, if you wat to convert to 235mm, I would not recomend the CRC conversion, there is a conversion from europe, that replaces the lower pod plates, and you dont have to run the hub extensions (Which SUCK!!!!!!!!! - they add quite an unbalance...
This is one of my 1st gen GT's. It is original (not restored). The flash was on when picture was taken so the plastics appear to be brighter than they actually are. However, they are not yellowed by any means.
The front & rear arms do have minor...

It's a beauty.
Thanks. It does have a few flaws due to the one race it ran. Overall, it is very clean.
So I found a XXT on RCTECH for pretty cheap, so I dove in and bought it. In really good condition overall, tore it apart, cleaned it up and tossed a 10.5 and lipo in there :)
You can also buy an empty 1 gallon paint can w/lid at places like Lowes or Home Depot. While your there pick up a gallon of Acetone. I only poor in about 1/3 of a gallon and also support the tire/wheel combo with a rock or whatever. I then use the...
