6 Gear Transmission Diff Spring Replacement?

I recently acquired a parts lot from a local guy here so I'm building another old school rc10

At the moment, I'm working on the transmission and the only part it's missing is the diff spring DOH! I know it should be a 6628, but I can't seem to find one to buy. IS there an alternative to the original part like maybe a stealth slipper spring 6587 that will work? Besides the chassis, this is the only thing holding me back from completion

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I have both, I can look at the springs and compare them for you.

I bought the newer B3 slipper spring and it seems to be ok, I haven't tested it yet though I'm short a chassis at the moment for the gold pan #2 build
