91 works box art pic

Post by caesar »

Howdy,

Has anyone got a pic or car that has the box art scheme. I purchased an 91 works from ebay and I'm itching to receive it. Gone through all my goodies I had in storage and all I have left from my original yok in the 80s are the rear pink wheels (found heaps of other crap) Going to purchase new body and want to paint it in the box art theme, Just need something I can copy.

Cheers

Rob

I think that box pretty much shows you most of the design.... but i'll get a photo for you of the shell that came with my 93 car, which appears to be a variation on the box-art theme

P.S; seen your 'new' car in your other thread.... looks like a nice example :)

Isn't the box for all the 'Works' cars the same, just with a different label on the end & if its a 92 or 93 has a sticker over the '91' on the front of the box?

Google search revealed the above car being sold on the Oople forum back in 2008.... damn I wish I could go back in time (car has pink 'ribbed' wheels too!)

Yes, its aftermarket. Not sure by who though? I have one waiting to be painted.
