I've had this idea in my head for a long time, and finally started a B44 street build that pays tribute to the old Yokomo's.

So far I've added these parts:

- Pro-Line Featherlight Yokomo wheels with custom aluminum adapters
- Pro-Line Road Hawgs
-...

havent built a brand new kit since 1993, just rebuilds to my old ones and bought a RTR b4 on the cheap
thinking of building a b44 and just wondering what your opinions are on the kit and car, would be my first 4wd build
have ever only had RC10s,...

every one has a valid point here. lets put it like this... every race car needs to be tweaked and gone through every race or every other race. a few arms and hubs here and there to keep the car tight wont hurt. I DONT think you will be displeased at...

Wondering about gearing, lipos that fit, ESC setups, motors etc. I have one of these on the way :mrgreen: can't wait.

Not sure but i believe Bj4 and b44 share almost the same parts. if they have the same gear Box then i think the mounting holes of the T-Bone Bumper will fit to your Bj4, Drop them a line , maybe they can confirm your quiries.

If anyone out there has a B44 laying around, I could really use a quick measurement 8)

I am looking for the distance from one side outer hinge pin to the other side outer hinge pin.
If that is too hard, we could go to the center of the chassis...

I have run both LiPo and NiMh in mine. LiPo specifically is a MaxAmps 6000mah saddle pack .

Just curious, but has anyone attempted to make a 4x4 truck out of a B44 yet. I was thinking that it would be nice if Associated had an electric monster truck type thing that ran on lipo and brushless. Maybe something that would be similar to some of...

A rally car would be cool. I was also thinking about a 4wd dune buggy with a roll cage. Then again I was thinking it would be cool to have a roll cage for my RC10 sand buggy.

I wasn't sure exactly where to put this, but I wanted to know if there are/were any wheel adapters available that would make it possible to mount the old-style Yokomo 4WD wheels on a B44? Team Suzuki, Hot Trick, etc.?

I got a new B44 the other day and it had the bleeder caps in the kit. Is this standard on all the factory team buggies. Our the Jconcepts wheels a good replacement wheel to get? and i ordered a body from rcupgrades with there custom wrap and paint....

All the pics of the new ones are drilled with screws and these didnt come with screws either.
