aftermarket spare parts build
aftermarket spare parts build
Heres the second car I worked on this weekend. Its assembled using a bunch of aftermarket spare parts I had laying around. The only AE parts are the 6gear tranny, bulkhead, shock collars, dog bones, body post and front suspension mounts. The rest of the car consists of a graphite chassis that i got in the BST section, an A&L trailing arm kit, Andy's front arms, vintage Yokomo shocks, unknown alloy steering cranks, and CC shock towers and motor plate with a Trinity Monster HP motor. The wheels and tires will be replaced at some point. Unlike my CC worlds build this car has a wheel base that is about a half inch shorter than stock due to the way I mounted the trailing arms. I think it worked out well and might lend it self to a VW bug body in the future.
Its pretty much done except for the wheels and tires and I need to fab up some battery hold downs yet. I like the way this one turned out! I hope you guys like it as well!

Thats exactly what it is. Not good for adjusting at the track but my shelf doesnt care!
The parts were purchased over a number of years. I would buy them then install on a few different cars I have. I decided to return all my New built cars back to stock and these are mostly parts from that. Now that my new job allows me to be home more I can get a few more cars done that I've been planning!
